Hunan Jinbei New Energy Development Co., Ltd. was jointly established in January 2016 by Jinbei Electrical Appliance Co., Ltd. and Hunan Wentai Energy Technology Co., Ltd. with a total investment of 100 million yuan. It is a high-tech enterprise focusing on the assembly (PACK) of power battery packs for new energy vehicles, the research and development of battery management systems (BMS), and overall battery pack solutions.
The predecessor of the enterprise, Hunan Wentai Energy Technology Co., Ltd., as a "Changsha Intelligent Manufacturing Pilot"* batch "demonstration enterprise", exclusively possesses the world's top South Korean Samsung SDI A-grade 18650 battery cells specially for electric vehicles and* a BMS R&D team relying on the "IoT System and Communication Engineering Technology" research center of Central South University, and has good cooperative relations with many domestic vehicle manufacturers such as Hebei Changan, Changsha Zotye, Shaanxi Automobile Tongjia, Hebei Yujie, and Chongqing Ruichi. The company currently has more than 130 employees, including 1 professor-level senior engineer, 4 Ph.D.s, 15 master's degree holders, 9 senior energy managers, and 90% with bachelor's degrees or above. It has obtained 13 patents. Products are widely used in different fields such as new energy vehicles, communication base station backup power supplies, home energy storage, and UPS, fully meeting the different needs of customers.
The enterprise is determined to become China's* professional new energy battery integrated system service provider, and* ultimately build a comprehensive industrial demonstration park integrating six functions: display and promotion of new energy vehicles, R&D and production of lithium batteries, production and operation of charging piles, electric vehicle leasing, waste battery recycling, and urban clean logistics.
