It is a national crop seed company specializing in crop variety breeding and seed production and operation, integrating breeding, propagation and promotion. In scientific research, Academician Yuan Longping serves as technical consultant, with 'Changsha Hope Agricultural Research Institute' as the research and development leader. The research team is led by Professor Tang Wenbang, hybrid rice breeder and winner of the National Technological Invention Award First Prize and the Ministry of Education Technological Invention Award First Prize, as chief expert, and breeder Xiong Yuedong, breeder of the Y58S series varieties, as core expert. The company has also established close cooperative relationships with well-known domestic research institutes such as the Hunan Hybrid Rice Research Center and Hunan Agricultural University. The company already owns intellectual property rights such as Y Liangyou 1998, Y Liangyou No. 6, and Zhuliangyou 189, with a total of 21 rice and cotton varieties approved at the national and provincial levels.
