It has successively gained favor from well-known VCs such as Xiaomi Technology, Shunwei Capital, JD.com, DETONG Capital, StarVC, and Northern Light Venture Capital, with cumulative financing exceeding 100 million yuan.
In early 2018, the company released its intelligent photography device - the Xiaomo AI Camera, which sold 13,000 units in a single day on Xiaomi Crowdfunding, and won domestic and international industrial design awards that year including the US IDEA and Japan G-Mark, being called the "industry's first AI camera" by IDEA.
The company's core team comes from technology companies such as Microsoft, Samsung, and LG, including senior experts in fields such as smartphones, computer vision, multimedia codec, data mining, and supply chain management. The team currently has about 60 members, with R&D personnel accounting for over 70%.
The company's founder and chairman, Fan Jinsong, is an EMBA from Cheung Kong Graduate School of Business, who single-handedly founded the listed company Kairun (300577); CEO Pu Hanlai holds an industrial doctorate in Microelectronics and Solid-State Electronics from Southeast University, with 17 years of experience in scientific research, product development, and operations. He previously worked at Microsoft Asia Research Institute and received Microsoft's Global Outstanding Contribution Award (the "Golden Star" Award).
