The predecessor of Hubei Xia Xiaozhong Hospital is the Hubei time-honored brand "Fangqing Yuben" Traditional Chinese Medicine Surgery. The hospital is a specialized Traditional Chinese Medicine hospital inheriting the century-old Hubei time-honored brand "Fangqing Yuben" Traditional Chinese Medicine Surgery, and possesses the intangible cultural heritage protection project "Xia's Dan Medicine Making Technique." Hubei Xia Xiaozhong Hospital integrates clinical practice, teaching, scientific research, and cultural dissemination. It is a multi-department comprehensive hospital led by Traditional Chinese Medicine Surgery, with the Orthopedics and Rheumatology Department as its flagship and the Ulcer and Repair Department as its specialty. At the same time, it is also a national cross-regional medical insurance hospital and a designated hospital under Wuhan medical insurance. It currently has two campuses in Hankou and Huangpi (under construction) in Wuhan, and one preparation factory in Jingshan.

1. Historical Evolution: In 1982, Jingshan Xia Xiaozhong Hospital was founded; in 1993, Wuhan Xia Xiaozhong Hospital was founded; in 2003, it moved next to Hankou Railway Station and was renamed.
2. Specialty Departments: Based on the Traditional Chinese Medicine theory of "internal and external combined treatment," it focuses on developing Traditional Chinese Medicine Surgery and specializes in treating bone and joint infections, ulcers and wounds, rheumatism and pain, and other diseases, forming hospital products mainly including the "Xia's Guyanling" series and the "Fangqing Yuben Ulcer" series.
3. Hospital Qualifications: National cross-regional medical insurance designated hospital, Wuhan medical insurance designated hospital, teaching practice base of Hubei University of Chinese Medicine, and designated hospital of Hubei Charity Federation.
4. Team Building: The key specialty team of Traditional Chinese Medicine Surgery is composed of the sixth-generation inheritor of Xia's technique, apprentice disciples, in-hospital experts, and externally hired expert consultant teams. 5. Jingshan Pharmaceutical Factory: Founded in 1992, it has three production lines for ointments and pills, powders and capsules, and tablets, producing various preparations. In 2014, it was upgraded to a modern preparation factory.
