Zhejiang Weiming Environmental Protection Co., Ltd. is a listed company on the main board of the Shanghai Stock Exchange. The Dongzhuang waste-to-energy project has been hailed by experts from the Ministry of Construction as "the first milestone in the localization of waste incineration treatment technology and equipment"; the Linjiang waste-to-energy project was designated as a national "863 Program" demonstration project; and the Kunshan waste-to-energy project was listed as the top of the "Top Ten Typical Cases of Waste Treatment in China in 2010" by China Solid Waste Network.
Weiming is among the first batch of enterprises in China with independent intellectual property rights for waste-to-energy incineration power generation technology. It holds dozens of national patents in fields such as waste incineration furnaces, flue gas treatment, and automatic control. It is also the first to obtain the Class A operation qualification for domestic waste treatment issued by the Ministry of Ecology and Environment. It has undertaken two national 863 projects and one national Torch Program project for research, and has participated in formulating national standards for the design, construction, and evaluation of municipal solid waste incineration engineering projects. The "600-ton/day multi-row two-stage reciprocating municipal solid waste incineration complete equipment set" developed by Weiming has been awarded the "National Key New Product" certificate jointly issued by four ministries and commissions.
