Founded in 1992, Tekang Technology is a high-tech enterprise specializing in the research and development, production, and sales of medical equipment and in vitro diagnostic reagents. The company has four subsidiaries: "Shenzhen Tekang", "Shanghai Tekang", "Jiangxi Tekang", and "American Big Bear". Tekang Technology is dedicated to the localization of medical equipment and in vitro diagnostic reagents in China, consistently adhering to independent innovation. It has successfully developed blood analyzers and reagents for blood analyzers with independent intellectual property rights in China and rapidly industrialized them. It has won the Second Prize of the National Science and Technology Progress Award in 2007, the National High-Tech Industrialization Ten-Year Achievement Award, the Outstanding Enterprise in the Tenth Anniversary of the National Technology Innovation Fund, the Top 100 Chinese Technology-Based Small and Medium Enterprises, and the Outstanding Team in the Implementation of the National Science and Technology Plan during the "Eleventh Five-Year" period, among other honors. It has successively undertaken national high-tech industrialization demonstration projects, the Ministry of Science and Technology Innovation Fund, the Ministry of Science and Technology International Cooperation, the Ministry of Information Industry Electronic Fund, and other * projects. It has drafted and participated in the formulation of national industry standards for blood analyzers and reagents. The company has been approved by the state to establish an Engineering Technology Research Center and a National Postdoctoral Workstation. In 2014, the TC6030, TC6060, TC6090, and TC9080 fully automatic biochemical analyzers were selected* in the National Health and Family Planning Commission's selection of excellent domestic medical equipment products. In 2016, the TEK8500 series fully automatic five-part blood analyzers were selected* in the National Health and Family Planning Commission's selection of excellent domestic medical equipment products. The TEK series fully automatic blood analyzers, TC series fully automatic biochemical analyzers, TEX series fully automatic fecal analyzers, TU series fully automatic urine analyzer systems, "Tekang" brand series reagents for blood analyzers, and "Tekang" brand series biochemical reagents developed and produced by Tekang Technology are exported to more than 50 countries and regions worldwide, with more than 80,000 users. Tekang Technology has invested hundreds of millions of yuan to establish science and technology parks in Shanghai and Nanchang, covering an area of more than 300 mu, with a total construction area of 90,000 square meters (including a clean workshop area of 3,000 square meters), and has built a high-tech industrialization demonstration project for in vitro diagnostic instruments and reagents in China. Tekang Technology has established a global marketing and after-sales service network, with more than 60 branches or offices in China. The company has passed ISO9001, ISO13485, German TÜV quality system certification, and CE certification for its products.
