Hubei Greensun Green Environmental Protection Materials Co., Ltd. is located by the beautiful Tangxun Lake in Wuhan — Liantou Building, Jiangxia Cultural Avenue. It was officially registered and established in Donghu Development Zone on July 13, 2011, and is a technology innovation-oriented enterprise. The company's self-developed "algae calcium" green functional ecological material has successfully achieved industrialization and transformation of its own achievements. In 2013, it began development and construction in Yingcheng, Hubei, covering an area of 215 mu. The first phase of the Green Materials Industrial Park, with plant and production lines invested at over 100 million yuan, was put into production successively in 2014. At present, it has mass-produced more than 30 single products in two major series: green engineering products and healthy household products, with production capacity reserves built to a scale of 2 billion yuan. The core "algae calcium" series products not only do not release harmful substances such as formaldehyde themselves, but also have six core technical features: "decomposing and purifying harmful gases," "inducing the release of negative ions," "regulating air temperature and humidity," "antibacterial and mildew-proof," "sound absorption and noise reduction," and "thermal insulation and energy saving." They have also obtained various environmental protection certificates reflecting product functions issued by the Ecological Environment Building Materials Branch of the China Building Materials Federation.
The company's five invention patents related to "algae calcium" functional new materials have developed a total of more than 30 products in six major categories of green engineering materials and healthy household products, which have been put on the market. They comprehensively improve the human living health environment from three aspects: healthy air, healthy water, and healthy life, and reduce consumers' risk of upper respiratory tract diseases and leukemia.
On October 28, 2016, Greensun was officially listed on the National Equities Exchange and Quotations, becoming China's "green functional new materials stock" and the industry's leading listed public company. In December of the same year, the company formally signed a contract with Academician Hou Li'an of the Chinese Academy of Engineering and started preparations for China's first "Green Environmental Materials Academician Workstation." (In the same year, the company's technology was successfully exported to an Egyptian ministry project.)
