As an independent airline in China that has long focused on regional air transport, China Express Airlines Co., Ltd. (stock code: 002928) (hereinafter referred to as "China Express") has adhered to a clear regional strategic positioning since its inception, consistently committed to pioneering the development of China's regional aviation market, actively exploring the business model of China's regional aviation, and striving to provide equal travel rights for people in third- and fourth-tier cities. It is a practitioner of the regional aviation business model in China.

Currently, China Express has established seven operating bases in Chongqing, Guiyang, Dalian, Hohhot, Xi'an, Korla, and Quzhou, with a total fleet of 79 aircraft, comprising Bombardier CRJ900, Airbus A320, and COMAC C909 models. In the 2025 winter-spring season, China Express operates 194 routes serving 138 cities, with regional routes accounting for 99% and exclusive routes for 90%. Rooted in the regional aviation business model, China Express has partnered with over 30 domestic airlines to launch nearly 16,000 interline routes and about 110,000 through/China Express interline products, building a nationwide aviation network that effectively connects trunk routes through a combination of trunk and regional services.

China Express has made unremitting efforts in ensuring operational safety, improving service quality, and fulfilling social value. Since 2008, China Express has won the Bombardier Commercial Aircraft "Asia-Pacific Reliability Award" seven times; in 2017, it was officially approved to join the International Air Transport Association (IATA); in 2019, it received the "National Worker Pioneer" award from the All-China Federation of Trade Unions, as well as poverty alleviation contribution awards from multiple local governments; in 2020, it was commended by the Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC) as an "Advanced Collective for Major Transportation Work" and was selected by IDC, a globally renowned information technology company, as a "leader in information data". In the same year, it formally signed a contract with COMAC for the purchase of 100 aircraft and received the first aircraft for operation that month; in 2021, it was honored by CAAC as an "Advanced Unit for Civil Aviation Service Quality and Brand Building", and was rated by the World Brand Lab as one of the "China's 500 Most Valuable Brands", with brand value surpassing 10 billion yuan for the first time; in 2022, it was recognized as one of the "Top 100 Guizhou Enterprises" by the Guizhou Enterprise Confederation; in 2023, it was commended by CAAC as an "Outstanding Collective for Achievements in Safe Civil Aviation Construction"; in 2024, it won the first prize in the ARJ21 category at the Southwest Regional Preliminary of the First China Civil Aviation Pilot Skills Competition, awarded by the CAAC Southwest Regional Administration, and received the 16th Aerospace Moonlight Award, while also becoming a member unit of the China Overseas Development Association; in 2025, it was awarded the seventh "National Civilized Unit" title by the Central Propaganda and Cultural Thought Work Leading Group, and was commended by CAAC as an "Advanced Unit for the Civil Aviation Service Quality and Efficiency Improvement Year" theme activity.
