贵州中草医医院是1991年经贵州省中医药管理局批准成立的省级中医专科医院，现位于贵阳市南明区阳明花鸟文化旅游城B5栋。医院建筑面积7200平方米，设置有中医肿瘤科，中医内科，中医妇科，中医针灸科，中医推拿科，中西医结合科，医学检验科，医学影像科等科室。全院现有员工108人，专业技术人员68人，其中高、中级专业技术人员20余人，初级专业技术人员40余人，中医专业技术人员占60％，开放病床126张；拥有美国GE螺旋CT、DR800X光机,迈瑞彩色B超，DNA定量分析仪,全自动生化分析仪，血球分析仪等大中型医疗设备20多台，每年接诊门诊患者10万人次，收治住院病人2000余人次。医院中药饮片储备品种超过400种，病房中药使用率达100％医院中医肿瘤科为贵州省省级重点中医专科（肿瘤）建设项目。医院为贵州省医保定点单位，贵州省国家平台跨省异地就医定点单位，贵阳市城镇职工医保定点单位，贵州省新型农村医疗合作定点单位，贵州省青年就业创业见习基地。
