Jiangxi CRRC Changchun Railway Vehicles Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as CRRC Changchun Jiangxi Company) was established in March 2014 with a registered capital of RMB 100 million. It is a large state-owned enterprise in rail transit jointly funded and established by CRRC Changchun Railway Vehicles Co., Ltd., Nanchang Rail Transit Group Co., Ltd., and Jiangxi Provincial Railway Investment Group Co., Ltd. It is a subsidiary of CRRC Corporation Limited. The company is located within the Ganjiang New Area of Nanchang City, with a total planned land area of approximately 300 mu. The future development direction of CRRC Changchun Jiangxi Company is to base itself in Nanchang City, radiate to Jiangxi Province and the entire southeastern region for related markets such as metro, intercity railway, and modern tram, and is committed to building a rail transit vehicle equipment industry base in Nanchang, Jiangxi, cultivating professional capabilities in rail transit equipment manufacturing in the Nanchang area, and building an industrial chain for rail transit equipment manufacturing in the Nanchang area, and creating conditions for the new construction, maintenance, and upkeep of urban rail, modern tram, and intercity vehicles in East China. After the company is fully completed, it will form a scale of 300 newly built rail vehicles per year and 300 maintained rail vehicles per year, with an annual output value of more than RMB 5 billion.
