Hunan Zhongnan Art School

Hunan Zhongnan Art School is a comprehensive full-time secondary art vocational school registered with the Hunan Provincial Department of Education, supervised by the Changsha Municipal Education Bureau, and founded by Hunan Wanying Education Group. The school adheres to the educational philosophy of "achieving children's dreams through education with love," takes "virtue, self-cultivation, refined artistry, and career establishment" as its school motto, takes "fostering virtue and cultivating people" as its educational goal, takes "combining excellent traditional Chinese culture with art education" as its educational measure, and takes "closed management, open teaching, and order-based training" as its talent cultivation model. Based on "lifelong responsibility for students," it implements the educational strategy of "taking virtue as the soul, etiquette as the surface, and art as the foundation," creates an ecological educational environment integrating school, family, and society, and cultivates comprehensive art talents with moral character, personal charm, and artistic ability for the country and society. The school has five departments: the Party and Government Comprehensive Office, the Admissions and Employment Office, the Development Planning Office, the Preschool Education Department, and the Art Department. It offers majors such as preschool education, dance, music, fine arts, broadcasting and program hosting, tourism service and management, and computer application technology. In 2016, 2017, and 2018, the school was rated as an excellent private school in Changsha for three consecutive years. The school's Party branch was awarded the title of "Advanced Party Organization" by the Changsha education system and the Changsha Private Education Committee. Principal Huang Ping is a "Top Ten" private school organizer in Changsha and a "Famous Principal" of Changsha.
The school was invested and established by Wanying Education Group, founded in 1998. The group has invested a cumulative total of nearly 500 million yuan and has focused on early childhood education for 21 years. The group has nearly 50 kindergartens and early education institutions, with nearly 2,000 employees. Since the group opened franchise chain operations in 2015, it has added nearly 15 kindergartens each year and needs nearly 1,000 new teachers each year. In 2017, construction of a Jiangnan garden-style campus with a construction scale of 100,000 square meters was to break ground, and it was put into use in August 2020. The new school is a multifunctional art school jointly built by Hunan Wanying Education Group and Hong Kong Kaien Education Group, with first-class education and teaching equipment in Central South China. The school will be equipped with a professional art building, professional teaching building, cultural teaching building, office building, multifunctional experimental theater, gymnasium, library, student apartments, and teacher apartments. The school plans to apply to be upgraded to Zhongnan Art Vocational College. By then, the school will become an influential professional art institution nationwide, integrating an art kindergarten, art primary school, art middle school, art secondary vocational school (secondary vocational education), art university (higher vocational education), and public traditional Chinese studies hall into a "four schools, one kindergarten, and one hall" institution, and will contribute to cultivating art education talents for the country.
