State Power Investment Group Xi'an Solar Power Co., Ltd.

State Power Investment Group Xi'an Solar Power Co., Ltd. (Huanghe Hydropower Xining Solar Power Co., Ltd.), as a wholly-owned subsidiary of Huanghe Hydropower Company, is a third-level unit of the State Power Investment Group. The two companies operate under the "two brands, one management team" model. The company is mainly engaged in the development, manufacturing, and sales of solar photovoltaic cells, modules, and related products, as well as engineering design, technical consulting, and technical services for solar photovoltaic power stations. In Xi'an and Xining, it has formed an annual production capacity of 1,100 MW of cells (type 500 MW, type 400 MW, type 200 MW), 625 MW of modules (type 270 MW, type 200 MW, type 155 MW), and 120 million silicon wafers, and operates two distributed photovoltaic power stations. In recent years, the company has successively obtained qualifications such as "Provincial Enterprise Technology Center" of Shaanxi and Qinghai, "Postdoctoral Research Workstation" awarded by the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security and the National Postdoctoral Management Committee, "High-tech Enterprise" of Shaanxi Province, and "Industry-University-Research Innovation Base". It has received honors including the National "May Day" Labor Medal, National Youth Safety Production Demonstration Post, Qinghai Youth Safety Production Demonstration Post, Qinghai Advanced Unit for Safety Production, Qinghai Plateau "Worker Pioneer", "Solar Cup" Annual Photovoltaic Module Enterprise, China Electricity Council Standardization Good Behavior Enterprise, Xi'an Leading Enterprise, and Xi'an Aerospace Base Outstanding Contribution Award. As of October 2019, the solar power company has published a total of 72 papers, applied for 274 patents, and been granted 152 patents; it has led or participated in compiling 29 national, industrial, and local standards.
