Wuhan Sky Blue Environmental Protection Technology Co., Ltd. was established in September 2013 and is located in "Wuhan Optics Valley." It is the world's first national high-tech enterprise to utilize chemical agglomeration and main flue evaporation technology to address PM2.5, zero liquid discharge of desulfurization wastewater, and integrated collaborative treatment of sulfur trioxide and heavy metals.



The company's core technologies include fine particulate matter agglomeration enhanced dust removal technology, main flue evaporation technology, and chloride ion passivation technology. It currently holds nearly fifty patents. The core technologies are innovative scientific and technological achievements based on nearly 20 years of research and development by Professor Zhang Junying's team at the State Key Laboratory of Coal Combustion, Huazhong University of Science and Technology, combined with the company's years of engineering application practice. They have received long-term project support from the Ministry of Science and Technology's "863 Program," "973 Program," and the National Natural Science Foundation of China. They represent major scientific research achievements in effectively controlling fossil fuel PM2.5 emissions in China, breaking the global environmental governance technology landscape. Appraised by the Chinese Society of Power Engineering, they have reached a leading level and have been widely applied in multiple industries including power, metallurgy, building materials, and chemicals.



According to the "Catalogue for Guiding Industry Restructuring (2019 Edition)" (Draft for Comments) issued by the National Development and Reform Commission, encouraged environmental protection process technologies such as "zero liquid discharge of wastewater," "ultra-low emission technology for coal-fired power generating units," and "multi-pollutant collaborative treatment for coal-fired power generating units" all fall within the scope of the company's core process technologies.
