Headquartered in Wuhan, Hubei Province, the company has a registered capital of 2.019 billion yuan. It currently holds four Grade Special qualifications for general construction contracting in highway engineering, municipal public works, building construction, and metallurgical engineering, as well as four Grade A design qualifications in highway, municipal, building, and metallurgical industries. It also possesses multiple professional engineering qualifications in real estate, highway, steel structure, petrochemical, and power engineering. It is the first high-tech enterprise within MCC Group to simultaneously hold the "Four Special and Four Grade A" qualifications.
China First Metallurgical Hubei Company is one of the three core main units under China First Metallurgical Group. In 2019, it signed new contracts worth 5.6 billion yuan and achieved an output value of 3.5 billion yuan, with work locations mainly in Hubei Province. Its engineering projects involve housing construction, roads and bridges, sponge cities, underground utility tunnels, comprehensive venues, large commercial complexes, municipal landscaping, water environment treatment, and more. The Wuhan Huangpu Avenue-Jinqiao Avenue Expressway Project undertaken by the company won the National Municipal Golden Cup Demonstration Project and the Luban Prize. The Wuqing Dyke (Tiejilu-Wufengzha) Embankment and Riverbank Comprehensive Improvement Landscape (Qingshan Section) Project won the International C40 Cities Award and the Luban Prize. The Jingmen Cultural Service Center Project won the National Quality Engineering Award. The Wuhan Gusushu Road (Third Ring Road-Development Avenue) Bridge Project won the National Municipal Golden Cup Demonstration Project.
