王家沙点心坚持以上海点心为本，又结合江南点心风味变化出新，博采众长，兼收并蓄，自成一格。王家沙点心用料讲究、制作精细，风味独特，如“小笼馒头大王”之称的蟹粉小笼，选用大闸蟹为原料，每天现拆蟹粉，用老母鸡熬制的高汤拌制而成，皮薄馅鲜，汤汁香浓。“汤团大王”的蟹粉汤团堪称一绝，外糯内鲜，汤汁饱满。“八宝饭大王”的王家沙八宝饭更是糯香可口。
