光大萧县城乡一体化发电项目由中国光大绿色环保有限公司出资建设,占地258亩,总投资人民币8.26亿元，分两期建设，是国内第二座生物质发电与垃圾发电合建项目。一期建设：生活垃圾焚烧发电建设规模为1;400 +1;9 汽轮发电机组；生物质发电建设规模为1;130 +1;30 汽轮发电机组；二期预留生活垃圾焚烧发电1;400 +1;9 建设规模。目前一期工程已经于2017年12月投产，二期生活垃圾焚烧发电工程项目于2018年10月22日签订投资协议，2019年4月取得项目核准批复，2019年8月初开工建设，2020年底投产发电。
