Meten English, an experiential English training brand, is committed to providing high-quality and practical English training services for adults and teenagers. Its products include General English, Business English, Youth English, International Education, and Online English, catering to the diverse English needs of various groups, while also focusing on providing professional English training services for enterprises.
Founded in 2006, Meten English has established over 70 directly-operated training centers across the country, covering 11 provinces and 22 cities, with an elite team of over 3,000 members, of which nearly 1,000 are in teaching and R&D. It offers four major product categories: Practical English, Overseas Exam Training, Study Abroad Consulting, and Online English, meeting the English learning needs of adults and teenagers. By the end of 2015, nearly 200,000 students had enrolled with Meten, and the company invested ten million yuan to integrate eight English training institutions, striving to build an experiential English training brand.
Over the past 9 years, Meten English has successfully provided corporate training services to over 70 well-known enterprises, including Huawei and Tencent. It has also been honored as the designated language service provider for major events such as the "Shenzhen 2011 Summer Universiade," the "Asia-Pacific Arbitration International Cooperation Conference," and the "18th World Supermodel Global Finals." The company has received 19 awards, including "Top 10 Training Brands in China."
Guided by its core values of "Responsibility, Passion, and Win-Win," Meten English takes on the mission of "Cultivating international talents and empowering dreams." In 2006, Meten initiated its "Qianqian Ai & Meten Qing" public welfare program, conducting biannual support activities for children in poor mountainous areas, including donating supplies, making charitable contributions, and providing one-on-one child sponsorship. In 2013, the program was expanded to include on-site volunteer teaching for two semesters each year. To date, Meten staff have extended their caring reach to eight provinces, including Chongqing, Sichuan, Guangxi, Yunnan, Tibet, Jiangxi, Guizhou, and Hunan, assisting over a thousand impoverished students.
