China Railway Signal & Communication Corporation Limited (hereinafter referred to as CRSC) is a central enterprise managed by the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council, with a complete industrial chain in railway and urban rail transit communication and signal system integration, R&D and design, equipment manufacturing, and construction, operation and maintenance; it owns 25 wholly-owned, controlling, shareholding and joint venture enterprises in scientific research and design, production and manufacturing, and engineering services, and has 5 business divisions including overseas, urban rail transit, communication information, basic equipment, and engineering.
CRSC Rail Vehicle Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as the Company) is a rail vehicle company jointly established by CRSC, Xiangtan Electric Manufacturing Group Co., Ltd. and Czech INEKON Group, and is a Sino-foreign joint venture controlled by CRSC. The Company was established in December 2014, with a registered capital of RMB 342 million, Phase I investment: RMB 550 million, registered address: Changsha Economic and Technological Development Zone, Hunan. Main business of the Company: R&D, production, sales and service of light rail vehicles, modern trams and their spare parts. The Company plans to have an annual production capacity of 200 trams and light rail vehicles within the next five years, and to build a complete and highly competitive supporting supply chain, actively responding to the Belt and Road Initiative and aligning with the international market.
CRSC Rail Vehicle Co., Ltd. (CRSC Changsha Industrial Park) is located south of Yuelu Avenue, west of Leigao Road, and east of Wanglei Road in Changsha *** High-tech Development Zone. It is a high-tech park strongly supported by the Changsha Municipal Government. Settled units include CRSC Rail Vehicle Co., Ltd., CRSC (Changsha) Rail Transit Control Technology Co., Ltd. and CRSC Construction Company, mainly engaged in R&D and manufacturing of urban trams, train control systems, "Four Electrical Systems Integration" finished products, smart city systems, etc. The total investment is about RMB 5 billion, with a construction period of 3 years. Phase I of the industrial park is about 600 mu, and Phase II is expected to be about 400 mu.
