该院始建于1957年，是该县的一所综合性二级甲等医院、省级爱婴医院。医院总建筑面积13000平方米，床位编制150张。现有在职职工294人，其中副高职5名，中级职称48名。拥有万元以上医疗设备34台件，其中100万元以上设备有GE8800全身CT机、惠普影像彩超等。临床科室设有：内科（心、脑、内分泌等专业），外科（骨、脑、泌尿等专业），妇产科、儿科、急诊科、中医科、眼科、耳鼻喉科、口腔科、皮肤科等。
