环境保护部南京环境科学研究所（简称“南京所”）成立于1978年，是环境保护部直属公益性科研机构，也是我国*早开展环境保护科研的院所之一。自成立以来，致力于前瞻性、战略性、基础性及应用性环境课题的研究。科研范围涵盖固废污染防治、有毒有害化学品生态效应与污染控制、土壤污染防治以及流域生态保护与水污染防治、生态保护与修复、自然与生物多样性、农村环境管理、等7个领域，21个研究方向。
