Hubei Agricultural Production Materials Holding Group Co., Ltd. is an enterprise directly under the Hubei Provincial Supply and Marketing Cooperative, and a large leading enterprise in the agricultural materials circulation industry in Hubei Province. The predecessor of the company was Hubei Provincial Agricultural Production Materials General Company, founded in 1952. It underwent overall restructuring in 2005, established the group company in 2009, and was renamed Hubei Agricultural Materials Holding Group in June 2017. Its current registered capital is 200 million yuan. After several years of reform and expansion, it has developed into an enterprise group featuring "group-based management, specialized division of labor, and diversified operations," with three main businesses: "agricultural materials," "renewable resources," and "tea industry," as well as diversified business segments including resource asset development and capital operation.

Since its establishment more than 60 years ago, the company has always adhered to the corporate purpose of serving "agriculture, rural areas, and farmers," conscientiously implemented the relevant guidelines and policies of the CPC Central Committee and the State Council and the Provincial Party Committee and Provincial Government, and fully played the role of the main channel for agricultural materials circulation in ensuring the supply of agricultural production materials in the province, balancing market supply and demand, stabilizing market prices, and supporting agriculture and disaster relief. It has made due contributions to agricultural efficiency, farmers' income growth, and rural prosperity in the province, and has been commended many times by the Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial Government, and higher competent departments. (1) Agricultural materials segment: The group currently has 13 main agricultural materials subsidiaries, including Hubei Chufeng Agricultural Materials Chain Co., Ltd., Hubei Chufeng Modern Agricultural Technology Service Co., Ltd., Hubei Chufeng Chemical Fertilizer Trading Co., Ltd., Hubei Chufeng Agricultural Materials Import and Export Trading Co., Ltd., and Hubei Agricultural Materials Group Pesticide Co., Ltd. The group currently has two fertilizer production enterprises, Hubei Fulaidi Jinrun Fertilizer Co., Ltd. (Qianjiang) and Hubei Fulaidi Biotechnology Co., Ltd., which can produce more than 50 varieties including high-, medium-, and low-content compound fertilizers and bio-organic fertilizers, with a total designed annual production capacity of 500,000 tons. Among them, Qianjiang Fulaidi has won the title of "Hubei Famous Formula Fertilizer Enterprise" for two consecutive sessions and was rated as a demonstration enterprise for agricultural-enterprise cooperation by the Ministry of Agriculture.

(2) Renewable resources segment: In order to seize the favorable opportunity of national circular economy development, in 2009 the group reorganized the Provincial Renewable Resources Company and successively introduced important strategic partners such as China Renewable Resources Company, Shenzhen GEM, and Beijing Enterprises Group. Hubei Provincial Renewable Resources Group currently has 5 holding and shareholding companies, possesses 3 qualifications: national waste home appliance recycling enterprise, waste home appliance dismantling and processing enterprise, and waste automobile recycling and dismantling enterprise. It has built 4 renewable resource industrial parks in Hanchuan, Gucheng, Qichun, Enshi, and other places, accelerating the creation of a comprehensive industrial base featuring waste home appliance and automobile dismantling, waste plastics, comprehensive utilization of waste engine oil, deep processing of waste tires, and precious metal extraction.

(3) Tea industry segment: Approved by the Hubei Provincial People's Government, the Agricultural Materials Holding Group has successfully established a provincial-level enterprise—Hubei Provincial Tea Industry Group. Its subsidiaries have established production bases totaling 220 mu in Enshi, Xianning, and Yichang, the main tea-producing areas of the province, with factories of more than 70,000 square meters, core tea garden bases of more than 15,000 mu, radiating more than 110,000 mu of surrounding tea gardens, more than 10 tea production lines, and more than 100 sets of production equipment, with an annual production capacity of more than 15,000 tons. It owns the Chinese *** "Chuan" brand, as well as Hubei time-honored brands such as "Yihong," "Paifang," and "Huochetou." Its products sell well in more than 20 provinces, cities, and regions in China such as Inner Mongolia, Xinjiang, and Qinghai, and are exported to more than 10 countries and regions including the EU, Russia, South Korea, and Japan. Among them, its subsidiary Yihong Tea Industry Co., Ltd. is a key leading enterprise in agricultural industrialization in the province. Yihong tea, together with Qihong and Dianhong, is known as one of China's three major historical * export black teas. Its subsidiary Zhaoliqiao Tea Factory is the *** inheritance and protection unit of the *** intangible cultural heritage Zhaoliqiao brick tea making technique and a national designated raw material reserve unit for border-sale tea. The fourth-generation inheritor Gan Duoping is a recipient of the first "Jingchu Craftsman" title in the province and the "Hubei Provincial May 1 Labor Medal."

(4) Diversified operations segment: In recent years, the group has developed businesses such as pawnbroking, investment, and real estate development, participated in village and township banks, took equity in the Urban Mineral Exchange, and participated in initiating the establishment of Central China's first carbon emissions exchange, taking substantive steps in diversified operations.

(5) Industry associations: The group is currently the chairman unit of 3 provincial-level industry associations. Among them, the Hubei Agricultural Production Materials Association currently has 140 member units, including circulation enterprises, production enterprises, and some scientific research units, and was rated as a "5A" social organization by the Provincial Department of Civil Affairs. The Hubei Renewable Resources Industry Association was established in 1986 and currently has more than 100 member units. It is a "4A" social organization. The Hubei Tea Association was established in 1989 and is composed of enterprises and institutions such as tea production, processing, and operation entities, related scientific research institutions, and colleges and universities in the province.
