Henan Shengshi Landscape Engineering Co., Ltd., affiliated with Henan Shengshi Group, is a comprehensive landscape enterprise integrating planning and design, engineering construction, greening maintenance, and seedling and flower production and research. For many years, it has been dedicated to social environment and landscape and greening undertakings, taking environmental protection, social impact, and government and corporate image as its responsibility with a high sense of responsibility and mission, forming an integrated development pattern of production, education, research, and application. The company was established in 2001 with a registered capital of 110.8 million yuan. Its headquarters is in Zhengzhou City, Henan Province, and it is an enterprise with national first-class qualification for urban landscape greening and second-class qualification for landscape architecture design.
In 2014, Henan Shengshi Group was established, with Henan Shengshi Landscape as the parent company, and it has 7 wholly-owned subsidiaries including Henan Shengjing Enterprise Management Consulting Co., Ltd., Henan Wansheng Media Co., Ltd., and Henan Bangchang Trading Co., Ltd.
In 2011, it was rated as a key leading enterprise in agricultural industrialization of Xinyang City; in 2012, it was rated as a key leading enterprise of the Henan Provincial Government in agricultural industrialization; and in 2013, it was recommended as a demonstration unit of the Henan Provincial Government's agricultural industry cluster, playing a demonstrative and leading role in the development of local agriculture and forestry. It has received numerous provincial and municipal advanced enterprise titles; many excellent project cases have been rated as industry-standard models.
As a new high-tech enterprise in the industry, Shengshi Group attaches importance to talent introduction and cultivation, employing 6 expert consultants, with 380+ employees, including 160 permanent staff and 220+ temporary workers. Among them, there are 48 enterprise management personnel, 46 senior landscape engineers and designers, 8 senior engineers, 30 engineers, and 28 assistant engineers. More than 60% of employees hold bachelor's degrees, and over 10% hold master's degrees or above. As a leading enterprise in agricultural industrialization, the company plans to invest a total of more than 60 million yuan to build a seedling base covering an area of about 3,000 mu, to be constructed in three phases: the first phase covers 1,000 mu (already built and put into use), and phases two and three are to be built. By increasing scientific and technological investment, we will improve the grade and technological content of flowers and trees, especially the cultivation and development of local specialty varieties such as osmanthus, orchid, magnolia grandiflora, and camphor, thereby leading technological innovation and management level in the same industry.
In 2012, it applied to establish the Henan Osmanthus Tissue Culture Engineering Research Center, and developed a new osmanthus variety Zhonghuang Dan Gui in joint research with the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences, and is now applying for certification of geographical indication and new variety. At the same time, the company tissue-cultured a unique variety of phalaenopsis orchid for greenhouse cultivation, with the first phase area reaching 3,500 square meters and the second phase 4,800 square meters.
Relying on the technical resources of Henan Shengshi Landscape Engineering Co., Ltd., the Henan Osmanthus Tissue Culture Engineering Technology Research Center was established to accelerate the research and development of new osmanthus products, fully utilizing this technical platform to improve the development capability of new osmanthus varieties and provide technical support for the production and development of osmanthus.
Since its establishment, the company has successively undertaken many large-scale comprehensive landscape projects, including: Xinzheng City Xuanyuan Lake Wetland Cultural Park (BT) project, Nanyang City Meicheng Park Phase I construction project, Tangyin Zhonghua Road both-side landscape greening project, Zhoukou City Zhoukou Park, Jiaozuo Yingbin Road greening landscape construction project, Dengfeng City Shaoshi Garden, Zhengzhou City Science Avenue greening renovation, Zhengzhou City Xihu Huayuan, Zhengzhou City Dihu Garden, Hainan Airport lawn project, and other projects integrating greening, landscape, and lighting, which have been well received by construction units.
In 2012, the company was rated as a AAA credit enterprise by banks. The projects undertaken have repeatedly been awarded honors such as: Henan Province municipal public (landscape) engineering provincial civilized construction site; provincial high-quality project; municipal excellent construction enterprise; new technology application demonstration project; provincial civilized construction site, and other honors.
