China Gezhouba Group Co., Ltd. is a joint-stock company initiated by China Gezhouba Water Resources and Hydropower Engineering Group Corporation. It was listed on the Shanghai Stock Exchange in 1997, becoming the first listed company in the domestic hydropower industry. In 2007, it absorbed and merged its controlling shareholder through share exchange, completing the overall listing of its main business assets. In 2021, China Energy Engineering Corporation absorbed and merged China Gezhouba Group Co., Ltd. through share exchange, and Gezhouba shares were delisted, making China Gezhouba Group Co., Ltd. a non-listed joint-stock company.
