宁波光耀热电有限公司位于余姚市滨海地区的黄家埠镇特色工业园区，企业2003年5月登记注册，于2003年6月开工建设，到2004年9月竣工并投入运行。宁波光耀热电有限公司为宁波热电股份有限公司控股企业，由宁波热电股份有限公司、浙江中源能源集团有限公司、绿能投资发展有限公司共同出资建设，是国家鼓励提倡的热电联产基础设施企业。公司机组规模为4台75t/h循环流化床锅炉配套一台1.8万千瓦背压式汽轮机组、一台6000千瓦背压式汽轮机组、一台3.0万千瓦抽汽凝汽式汽轮机组，装机总容量达5.4万千瓦。负责为黄家埠镇、临山镇及泗门镇各用热企事业单位供热，发电接入华东电网，目前有用热单位近60家。
