威海东海船舶修造有限公司始建于1974年，位于威海经济
技术开发区皂埠口。这里海域广阔,水深流缓,具有得天独厚的修造船条件。公司是山东省较大的造船企业之一。工厂占地8.2万平方米，拥有员工300人，其中各类工程技术人员28人，包括中专业技术人员4人。公司拥有万吨级船台1座，千吨级船台8座，每年可建造万吨级船舶2艘，千吨级船舶4艘，可同时上排修理多艘5000吨级以下的船舶；拥有一座码头，水深-6.5米，航道水深-10米。具备出口船舶和远洋船舶开发的良好条件。公司自1999年开始，先后为国内各大航运公司和旅游公司建造多艘大型货轮和沿海旅游船，并获得客户的好评。特别是为威海刘公岛航线开发的200客位沿海豪华旅游船更是得到了各界的一致称赞，为威海市的旅游业开发做出了一定的贡献。
