New Channel International Education Group Limited was founded in 2004 by Professor Hu Min, a renowned expert in China's English training industry and an English education specialist, together with a group of elite personnel and experts from the language training industry at home and abroad. Shanghai New Channel School is a core second-level branch directly under New Channel International Education Group. The school currently has nine day-school campuses: Shanghai Stadium, People's Square, Pudong Yaohan, Fuzhou Road, Wujiaochang, Meilongzhen, Changshou Road, Xujiahui Puhuitang Road, and Xujiahui Zhongcao Road, as well as an international language boarding academy located on Guilin Road and Luoxiang Road in Xuhui District, totaling eleven learning centers.
