China Geo-Engineering Corporation Group (abbreviated as CGC, English abbreviation CGC) was established in 1982 with the approval of the State Council of the People's Republic of China and registered with the State Administration for Industry and Commerce. Its current registered capital is RMB 228 million. It is a large-scale wholly state-owned enterprise group managed by the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council. Headquartered in Beijing, it has managerial departments, project departments, and offices in nearly 30 countries and regions in Asia and Africa, and has more than 20 subsidiaries and branches in China. The group holds qualification certificates for foreign economic cooperation operation, foreign contracted engineering labor cooperation, import and export operation, and geological survey.
