广西壮族自治区遥感信息测绘院是首批具有全国甲级测绘资质的基础测绘单位，为广西自然资源厅直属公益一类、财政全额拨款的事业单位，主要职能为国家及广西的自然资源调查监测、国土空间规划及优化管控、国土生态修复、新型基础测绘等提供技术咨询、数据生产、系统开发及解决方案提供等服务。业务范围涵盖遥感、地理信息数据获取、生产、研发及应用服务，地理信息系统工程和测绘工程等方面。目前我院装备有大型倾斜航摄仪、各类型无人机、遥感影像分析处理、实景三维建模等近5000万的一大批专业软硬件设备。现有职工221人，其中博士、研究生44人，高级工程师32人，工程师74人，并有19人取得注册测绘师资格。
