Syrius Technology has a young team with a global background. Key members have held important positions at companies such as Google, NVIDIA, Alibaba, Amazon, Huawei, and DJI. The company's founder and CEO, Jiang Chao, was the former head of the Project Tango at Google X Lab, leading a 400-person R&D elite team distributed across Silicon Valley, Sweden, Ukraine, and other locations.
Founded in 2018, Syrius Technology is a national high-tech enterprise. The company has offices and experience warehouses in Shenzhen, Beijing, Hong Kong, Tokyo, and Singapore, and owns a wholly-owned subsidiary in Japan.
In August 2021, Syrius Technology announced the completion of a Series B funding round led by ByteDance, with participation from Lenovo Capital and Incubator Group, and continued investment from existing shareholders Sequoia Capital China, Mingshi Capital, Zhencheng Investment, Chuangyin Capital, and Japanese investment institution PKSHA SPARX Algorithm Fund. In December 2020, Syrius Technology was selected for The Information's list of the most promising startups ("The 50 Most Promising Startups"), ranking highest among Chinese AMR companies on the list.
