重庆经开区投资集团有限公司成立于2010年12月，是重庆经开区管理委员会所属全资国有公司，注册资本金6亿元，其前身为重庆经开资产经营管理有限公司。2017年按照《重庆市南岸区（经开区）国资国企改革实施方案》和《重庆经开区国有企业改革重组方案》重庆经开资产经营管理有限公司将经开区独资、控股的国有企业按照“1+4”的格局重组形成，并于2017年10月更名为重庆经开区投资集团有限责任公司。
