Chongqing Economic and Technological Development Zone Investment Group Co., Ltd. was established in December 2010. It is a wholly state-owned company affiliated with the Chongqing Economic and Technological Development Zone Management Committee, with a registered capital of 600 million yuan. Its predecessor was Chongqing Economic and Technological Development Zone Asset Management Co., Ltd. In 2017, in accordance with the "Implementation Plan for State-owned Assets and State-owned Enterprise Reform in Nan'an District (Economic and Technological Development Zone) of Chongqing" and the "Reorganization Plan for State-owned Enterprises in Chongqing Economic and Technological Development Zone," Chongqing Economic and Technological Development Zone Asset Management Co., Ltd. reorganized the wholly-owned and controlled state-owned enterprises of the development zone into a "1+4" structure, and in October 2017 changed its name to Chongqing Economic and Technological Development Zone Investment Group Co., Ltd.
