Hubei Provincial Agricultural Planning and Design Institute (hereinafter referred to as "the Provincial Agricultural Planning Institute") is a state-owned comprehensive service platform for rural revitalization approved by relevant provincial government departments, featuring agricultural planning and industrial services. The Provincial Agricultural Planning Institute integrates expert resources from Huazhong Agricultural University, Hubei Academy of Agricultural Sciences, Huazhong University of Science and Technology, Hubei Academy of Social Sciences, and Zhongnan University of Economics and Law, and is committed to promoting rural revitalization and agricultural and rural modernization.
The Provincial Agricultural Planning Institute has professional departments including the Industrial Planning Department, Village Planning Department, Territorial Spatial Planning Department, Ecological Environment Department, Industrial Economics Research Department, Tourism Planning Department, Landscape Design Department, and EPC Business Division. On the basis of integrating the Sanxiangren Planning and Design Team, the planning team has further brought together first-class domestic professionals in agricultural planning and design, agricultural industry research, agricultural park operations, and ecological environment. It currently has 36 experts and professors, and a planning team of more than 60 people with master's degrees or above. The board of directors is composed of 7 renowned experts, including Professor Feng Zhongchao, doctoral supervisor at the College of Economics and Management of Huazhong Agricultural University, Professor Hu Ronggui, doctoral supervisor at the College of Resources and Environment of Huazhong Agricultural University, Professor Xu Dequan, doctoral supervisor at the College of Animal Science and Technology of Huazhong Agricultural University, and Professor Wen Hao, vice dean of the School of Business Administration of Zhongnan University of Economics and Law, among whom Professor Feng Zhongchao serves as the president.
Adhering to the philosophy of "resource integration, model innovation, professional dedication, and integrity and pragmatism," the team of the Provincial Agricultural Planning Institute has undertaken projects involving 10 cities and prefectures and 70 counties and districts. Its planning projects cover rural revitalization, territorial space, village construction, ecological environment, agricultural industrial parks, pastoral complexes, characteristic towns, agricultural science and technology parks, leisure agriculture and rural tourism, etc., accumulating very rich practical experience and industrial resources.
