The Second Affiliated Hospital of Guangzhou Medical University

The Second Affiliated Hospital of Guangzhou Medical University was officially established in December 1982. It currently has three campuses: Changgang Campus, Panyu Campus, and West Campus. It houses the Neuroscience Research Institute of Guangzhou Medical University, the Guangzhou Cardiovascular Disease Research Institute, and the Ophthalmology Research Institute of Guangzhou Medical University. It is a large-scale tertiary Grade A comprehensive hospital, one of the first batch of Guangdong Provincial High-level Clinical Medical Colleges, a Guangdong Provincial collaborative 'Flagship' Hospital of Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine, and a National Demonstration Unit for Traditional Chinese Medicine Work in General Hospitals. The hospital has 1 key laboratory co-built by the province and the ministry and the Ministry of Education, 2 key laboratories at the Guangdong Provincial level, 3 key laboratories of the Guangdong Provincial Department of Education, 1 key laboratory of the Guangdong Provincial Health Commission, 1 Guangdong Provincial Engineering Technology Research Center, and 4 key laboratories at the Guangzhou municipal level.
