Lujiazui Group

Shanghai Lujiazui (Group) Co., Ltd. was established in 1990. It is one of the 54 large enterprise groups approved and key-supported by the Shanghai Municipal People's Government, and is a directly affiliated enterprise of the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of Pudong New Area. At its inception, it was primarily responsible for the land development and comprehensive operation of the Lujiazui Financial and Trade Zone, the first development zone in China named after "finance and trade". Now, it has expanded its main focus to emerging areas such as Qiantan, Lingang, and Yuqiao, serving the development of central and southern Pudong. The Group is also committed to the development of industries such as tourism and exhibitions, and comprehensive urban services, effectively improving the regional investment environment and enhancing urban service functions. The Group has nearly 150 invested enterprises and employs over 9,000 staff. Over the years, the Lujiazui Group has cumulatively developed a total land area of about 16 square kilometers, with a total construction area exceeding 22 million square meters. By the end of December 2017, the Group's total assets reached 140 billion yuan. Currently, the total building area in operation in Shanghai, Tianjin, Suzhou, and other places exceeds 3.7 million square meters, and the total area of projects under construction exceeds 4.6 million square meters. The Group is committed to building a "golden brand" of state-owned enterprises, promoting the development of Pudong, and becoming a comprehensive urban operation and service provider.
