China Nuclear Engineering & Construction Co., Ltd., established in 1958, is the earliest construction enterprise in China engaged in nuclear engineering and construction. It has made historic contributions to the successful development of the Republic's "two bombs and one submarine" and to China's scientific, technological, industrial, and national economic construction. It has achieved new merits in China's nuclear power construction and the development of clean energy for humanity, serving as the national team and main force in China's nuclear industry, undertakings, and economic construction.
II. Background of Recruitment Needs
The Fuqing and Zhangzhou nuclear power project departments are two important nuclear power project departments under the company. The Fuqing nuclear power project is China's first large-scale multi-unit nuclear power project planned and constructed in a continuous manner. As the main civil engineering contractor, the Fuqing nuclear power project department has undertaken most of the civil construction tasks on site for the million-kilowatt-class second-generation improved pressurized water reactor nuclear power units and the world's first "Hualong One" unit.
Currently, the Fuqing nuclear power project department is at its peak period of steel structure construction, while the Zhangzhou nuclear power project department has commenced. To prepare for personnel reserves for subsequent projects such as Haiyang AP1000, there is a long-term need to recruit and train nuclear-grade welders and riveters.
