Founded in June 1988 with a registered capital of 1.5 billion yuan, Dongguan Securities is a state-controlled national comprehensive securities company and one of the first underwriting and sponsoring institutions in the country. Its business scope covers brokerage, investment consulting, financial advisory, underwriting and sponsorship, proprietary securities trading, asset management, fund distribution, futures IB, direct investment, margin trading and short selling, market making, and stock options. As of the end of 2017, the company had 76 branches (including 73 business outlets, 1 Shanghai branch, 1 Shenzhen branch, and 1 Beijing office), with outlets covering the Pearl River Delta, Yangtze River Delta, and Bohai Economic Rim, basically forming a pattern of "rooted in Dongguan, facing South China, and moving nationwide." The company wholly owns Dongzheng Jinxin Investment Management Co., Ltd. and holds a stake in Hualian Futures Co., Ltd. Keeping pace with national policies and industry developments, the company continuously enriches its business varieties and optimizes its revenue structure. Currently, with brokerage, asset management, and investment banking as its three core businesses, it actively develops margin trading, direct investment, debt financing, New Third Board, and investment consulting, achieving a transformation from a single-source revenue securities firm to a diversified revenue securities firm.
