2011年11月29日，重庆国际经济合作培训中心（简称培训中心）在前外经贸部副部长龙永图先生和时任重庆市人民政府副市长吴刚先生共同见证下揭牌成立，旨在搭建国际人才交流合作平台，促进区域发展和人文交流。自成立以来，培训中心依托国际合作网络，积极拓展合作交流，并先后与奥地利、巴林、黎巴嫩、波兰、马来西亚、巴基斯坦、越南、柬埔寨、乌兹别克斯坦等国家建立了良好合作关系，在商贸促进、人文交流、教育培训等领域开展了一系列卓有成效的合作。
