公司前身（义乌市便尔利塑业有限公司）于2003年成立，在众多员工和客户的支持下，企业发展迅速，成为2008北京奥运会雨衣指定供应商。2017年响应政府号召，回归台州以报桑梓，成立了浙江明嘉新材料有限公司。2018年通过了沃尔玛“人权、反恐、质量”三项体系认证，成为沃尔玛的指定供应商。2020年1月面对突如其来的疫情，公司经椒江区政府批准，成为全区*家复工复产的规上企业，生产隔离衣面料和CPE隔离衣，并捐献隔离衣给海门街道和武汉雷神山医院，为抗疫作出了企业应有的贡献。
