Shenzhen World Exhibition & Convention Center

Shenzhen World Exhibition & Convention Center (abbreviated as Shenzhen World in English) is a major project invested and constructed by the Shenzhen Municipal Government. It is built and operated by a consortium of China Merchants Shekou and OCT, and is a super-large convention and exhibition complex integrating exhibitions, conferences, events (competitions, performances, etc.), catering, and services.
The first phase of the exhibition hall project commenced construction in September 2016, was fully completed in September 2019, and officially opened in November 2019. It will be built into a new-generation green exhibition hall and smart exhibition hall. The exhibition hall is jointly operated and managed by Shenzhen Zhaohua International Convention & Exhibition Operation Co., Ltd. (jointly initiated and established by China Merchants Shekou and OCT) and ASM GLOBAL, one of the world's three largest venue operation organizations.
Shenzhen Zhaohua International Convention & Exhibition Operation Co., Ltd. was jointly initiated and established in May 2017 by two central state-owned enterprises, China Merchants Shekou Industrial Zone Holdings Co., Ltd. and Shenzhen Overseas Chinese Town Co., Ltd., and is mainly responsible for the operation and management of Shenzhen's brand-new exhibition hall—Shenzhen World Exhibition & Convention Center. The company's management team is composed of domestic and international exhibition industry experts with international exhibition vision, global channel resources, and rich experience, international venue operation talents, and real estate industry elites.
