张家口青少年艺术军校成立于1996年，是由市国访办、教育局批准在共青团张家口市委直接领导下，纳入国家统一招生计划的一所全日制中等专业学校。开设专业有：舞蹈表演、音乐、器乐、教官班等专业。学生毕业颁发国家承认中专学历证书，可报考全国高等艺术、体育院校。并为企业、部队输送军、地两用艺术人才。为扩大办学范围，现如今在北京成立分校需招聘各专业文化教师及后勤工作人员。
