Giantec Semiconductor Corporation is a foreign-invested enterprise located in Zhangjiang Hi-Tech Park, Pudong New Area, Shanghai, specializing in the research, development, manufacturing, and sales of high-performance, high-quality analog and digital integrated circuit products. Its purpose is not only to provide customers with the components they need but also to offer complete application solutions.
The predecessor of Giantec Semiconductor Co., Ltd. was ISSI (Integrated Silicon Solution, Inc.) of the United States. Giantec's core team includes managers with 10 to 20 years of senior management experience in domestic and international integrated circuit design companies, as well as technical experts with over a decade of experience in digital and analog product design.
Giantec currently has two product lines: EEPROM and MCU, while vigorously developing new energy-saving product series - Power Management chips and special microprocessor chips for smart meters. Among them, the MCU product line mainly consists of SmartCard. Giantec's products are sold worldwide, including European countries, the United States, Japan, South Korea, China Taiwan, and India. Major customers include Apple, GNNET, Motorola, HP, Panasonic, VTech, Foxconn, Canon, Richo, Sharp, Bosch, CMO, AUO, Sony, Haier, Changhong, and Galanz Home Appliances. Giantec will focus on special microprocessor (MCU) chips, which will not only be used in SmartCard but also have broader applications such as smart meters and home appliances. At the same time, it will continuously launch highly competitive new products, such as analog-digital hybrid EE + temperature sensors, 512K Bit and 1M Bit large-capacity EEPROM, ROM-type contactless CPU chips, and EE-type contact CPU encryption chips, to meet market needs.
