Decathlon entered China in 1989 to start sourcing and production operations, and officially launched retail operations in China in 2003, achieving a full industry chain layout integrating product design, production, logistics, branding, and retail. Decathlon has production and sourcing centers in 27 countries and regions, with over 44% of its purchases coming from China. Currently, Decathlon has four owned factories, three logistics parks, eleven industrial sourcing offices, and one brand center in China, along with 200 physical stores in over a hundred cities and an online multi-platform sales network.
