威海大光华国际学校是2003年8月经威海市教育局批准成立的全日制涉外学校。学校由威海大光华教育投资有限公司投资建设，隶属环翠区教育局管理。学校占地面积216亩，建筑面积8万平方米，总投资1.6亿元人民币。按教学区、体育活动区、生活服务区分区规划设计建设，分别建有教学楼、学术报告中心、图书阅览中心、信息技术中心、科技实验中心、音乐美术中心、行政办公中心，体育馆、游泳馆、跆拳道馆，学生公寓、教师公寓、多功能餐厅。学校设有小学部、初中部、高中部和国际部。现在校学生2400余人。
