Chongqing Chuanjiu Construction Co., Ltd., founded in 1966, was originally the 56th Engineering Division of the Ministry of Coal Industry. With the reform of the coal construction management system, it was renamed the 9th Engineering Division of Sichuan Coal Mine Construction. In December 2005, approved by the Chongqing State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission, it was restructured and renamed Chongqing Chuanjiu Construction Co., Ltd. (referred to as Chongqing Chuanjiu Company). The company headquarters is located in Yubei District, Chongqing, in the core area of Chongqing's economic development, Liangjiang New Area, adjacent to Chongqing Jiangbei International Airport.
Chongqing Chuanjiu Company is a comprehensive construction enterprise integrating Grade I general contracting for mine engineering construction, Grade I general contracting for municipal public engineering construction, Grade I professional contracting for tunnel engineering construction, building construction engineering construction, Grade II general contracting for highway engineering construction, earthwork engineering construction, blasting and demolition engineering construction, and Grade II professional contracting for hydraulic tunnel engineering construction. It currently has 1,000 employees and possesses 860 large and medium-sized construction and testing equipment (sets).
