Shanghai Rightongene Biotechnology Co., Ltd. (referred to as Rightongene) is a high-tech group enterprise engaged in biomedical research and development, production, and services. As implied by its English name (RIGHT ON), Rightongene has always been committed to the development of China's "precision medicine" cause and the ambitious goal of "making molecular detection affordable for Chinese people".
Rightongene is dedicated to the R&D, production, sales, and testing services of tumor molecular diagnostic reagents. It has three production enterprises (Shanghai Yuanqi Biomedical Technology Co., Ltd., Suzhou Yuntai Biomedical Technology Co., Ltd., Wuhan Baitai Genetic Engineering Co., Ltd.) and holds shares in one third-party independent laboratory (Shanghai Sitaide Biotechnology Co., Ltd.) and one American biotech innovative enterprise (Akonni Biosystems). As of 2019, Rightongene's sales business has expanded to 30 provinces and municipalities across China, excluding Tibet, Hong Kong, and Macau, and has established stable cooperative relationships with more than 500 tertiary hospitals (especially in the oncology field). Since its inception, Rightongene has been committed to developing molecular detection projects related to hematopoietic and lymphoid tissue tumors and solid tumors. To date, it has developed more than 300 molecular detection projects for blood tumors/solid tumors, involving platforms such as first-generation sequencing, fluorescent quantitative PCR, next-generation sequencing, digital PCR, and digital chips. To further improve its tumor detection system, in 2019 Rightongene launched flow cytometry and fluorescence in situ hybridization (FISH) platforms, and subsequently took the lead in China to integrate genomic (DNA) and transcriptomic (RNA) detection information, taking another major step toward building a comprehensive, three-dimensional tumor detection product system.
Rightongene has always taken serving Chinese patients as its responsibility. Through cooperation with numerous domestic medical institutions, it develops targeted molecular detection products based on the genetic characteristics of Chinese patients with blood tumors/solid tumors.
