Huagan Environmental Group

Jiangxi Huagan Environmental Group Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Huagan Environmental Group") was approved by the Jiangxi Provincial Government in September 2018 and led by Jiangxi Provincial Investment Group Co., Ltd. to form a provincial-level investment and operation platform in the ecological and environmental protection field, with a registered capital of 3 billion RMB.
The establishment of Huagan Environmental Group is a major strategic decision made by the Jiangxi Provincial Party Committee and Provincial Government to implement the "Five-Sphere Integrated Plan" from a high starting point, seize the strategic opportunities of the Yangtze River Economic Belt development and the rise of the central region, and promote industrial development and transformation and upgrading in Jiangxi Province; it is a major measure for Jiangxi to practice the development philosophy of "innovation, coordination, green, openness, and sharing" and vigorously advance supply-side structural reform; it is an important economic and project lever for our province to fight the tough battle of pollution prevention and control and solve prominent ecological and environmental protection problems in Jiangxi.
Huagan Environmental Group will firmly grasp the service positioning of "serving the province's ecological civilization construction, serving industrial development and upgrading and enterprise quality and efficiency improvement, and serving the province in forming new economic growth points", closely focus on the functional positioning of "integrating the province's ecological and environmental protection resources, cultivating and strengthening our province's ecological and environmental protection industry, and building a provincial-level investment and operation platform in the ecological and environmental protection field", follow the principles of "unified platform with parallel resource integration, unified planning with coordinated industrial development, unified system with simultaneous construction and research", and take the creation of five major sectors—environmental protection research, equipment manufacturing, engineering construction, environmental services, and green finance—as the guide to attract more central state-owned enterprises, local state-owned enterprises, or outstanding private enterprises with independent intellectual property products and technologies, relatively strong funds, rich management experience, and sufficient talent in various industrial fields of ecological and environmental protection to jointly establish with Huagan Environmental Group several environmental protection industry professional companies focusing on seven major main businesses: air pollution prevention and control, water pollution prevention and control, soil pollution prevention and control, garbage treatment, solid waste disposal, watershed management, and environmental services, and accelerate development into an important operator of our province's ecological and environmental governance*, a comprehensive service provider for the environmental protection industry, an important operator of capital operations, and an active bearer of social responsibility.
As of the end of December 2020, Huagan had established 38 invested enterprises, including 22 second-level enterprises, comprising 3 wholly-owned companies, 15 holding companies, and 4 shareholding companies; and 16 third-level enterprises.
