Shenzhen Hengsheng Hospital

As a member hospital of Fosun Medical Group, Shenzhen Hengsheng Hospital is a large-scale modern national tertiary comprehensive hospital in Shenzhen. It has a total building area of nearly 100,000 square meters, with a planned capacity of 1,100 beds and currently over 800 beds in operation, serving more than 800,000 outpatient visits annually. Located in the strategic Qianhai area of Shenzhen, the hospital is adjacent to Xiwan Mangrove Seaside Ecological Park, near Bihaiwan Station on Metro Line 11 and Xixiang Station on Line 1. It is close to the Pearl River Estuary, only a 15-minute drive from Shenzhen Bao'an International Airport, and is connected by National Highway 107, Bao'an Avenue, Xixiang Avenue, and other major roads. The hospital houses 46 clinical and medical technology departments, with over 1,000 staff members, including nearly 80 master's and doctoral degree holders and more than 100 senior professional title experts.
The hospital aspires to become a non-public tertiary Grade A comprehensive hospital with humanistic characteristics in western Shenzhen. Through continuous standardized management and cultural enrichment, it aims to build itself into a trustworthy tertiary Grade A comprehensive hospital that integrates medical care, prevention, rehabilitation, teaching, and research, with a focus on medical services, teaching as the foundation, research as the driving force, and distinctive service features, all imbued with cultural connotation.
The hospital will comprehensively drive the coordinated development of medical care, teaching, and research, strengthening connotation construction and fostering new development through the synergy of medicine, education, and research. In 2006, the hospital was designated as a "Teaching Hospital of Guangdong Provincial Medical Colleges" and a "Teaching Hospital of Sun Yat-sen University," establishing internship partnerships with over 10 higher medical institutions, including Southern Medical University, Guangdong Medical University, and Hunan University of Chinese Medicine. In 2020, in collaboration with the School of Medicine of Shenzhen University, it established scholarships and teaching awards to reward outstanding students and exemplary young teachers. Currently, the hospital has completed the designation as a "Teaching Hospital of Shenzhen University."
