Tiandi Hengyi Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. was established in 2006. It is a comprehensive modern pharmaceutical enterprise driven by market orientation and R&D as its core driving force, located in Liuyang Economic and Technological Development Zone (also known as Changsha National Biomedical Industry Base). The company currently has nearly 1,000 employees and is mainly engaged in the R&D, production and sales of clinical therapeutic prescription drugs. It has two wholly-owned subsidiaries, Hunan Tiandi Hengyi Modern Chinese Medicine Industry Co., Ltd. and Hunan Tiandi Hengyi Pharmaceutical Chemistry Co., Ltd., and has established a full-industry-chain strategic layout with equal emphasis on Chinese patent medicines and chemical drugs. It is one of the pharmaceutical enterprises in Hunan Province with relatively strong R&D strength, relatively wide marketing network coverage and relatively fast development, and ranked 86th in the "Top 100 Chinese Traditional Medicine Enterprises" in Menet's 2019 "Top 100 Chinese Pharmaceutical Industry Series List".

The company's products include Chinese patent medicines, chemical drugs and active pharmaceutical ingredients. It has accumulated more than 100 drug R&D projects under research and already submitted to the National Medical Products Administration, including generic drugs and innovative drugs of Chinese patent medicines and chemical drugs. After more than ten years of market development, the company has gained certain market competitiveness in three major fields: rheumatic and orthopedic medication, immunomodulatory medication, and antibacterial and antiviral Chinese medicine medication. Several key products have entered the national TOP20 list in segmented markets, forming a multi-level product echelon. After more than ten years of R&D accumulation, chemical generic drugs that have passed or are deemed to have passed consistency evaluation have begun to be launched successively, giving it a relatively large advantage in national centralized procurement, enabling it to quickly gain market share, expand brand influence and enterprise scale. Research projects on improved new drugs and global innovative drugs have made certain progress, which will provide momentum for the company's sustainable development.

Since its establishment, the company has continued to conduct drug research and development, with annual R&D investment of around 10%, and R&D personnel accounting for nearly one-third of the total number of employees. The Pharmaceutical Research Institute builds high-level technology platforms around key links in drug research and development, forming six major categories of core technologies, including automated extraction of traditional Chinese medicine, drug quality control, in vitro-in vivo correlation research, key formulation technologies, innovative drug discovery, and green synthesis. It has established a comprehensive R&D system running through the entire drug R&D process and key technical links, forming the ability to continuously develop drugs with independent intellectual property rights.

The company is a nationally recognized high-tech enterprise, a national intellectual property advantage enterprise, a co-builder of a national key laboratory, a Hunan Province-recognized enterprise technology center, the Hunan Provincial Engineering Technology Research Center for Bone and Joint Disease Drugs, and a co-builder of the Hunan Provincial Engineering Technology Research Center for Drug Quality Evaluation. The company has established scientific research cooperation with multiple universities inside and outside the province, including jointly building a new drug screening and evaluation platform. In 2020, it was approved to establish a postdoctoral research workstation, and has established full-time master's degree joint training bases or part-time master's degree commissioned training programs with universities such as Hunan University of Chinese Medicine and Wuhan University.
