With 25 years of experience in the automotive electronics industry, Xiongbing Automotive Electronics has become one of China's security product manufacturers through years of development. In the company's 2013 strategic objectives, the development direction for the next five years was set—dedicated solely to automotive OEM supply! The current product lineup includes three major categories: automotive security series, car PC and automotive audio-visual series, and automotive appearance and modification series, managed respectively by the Security Division, Audio-Visual Division, and Modification Division.
Development History:
- October 1992: Founded in Zhanjiang, Guangzhou.
- October 1994: Moved the company to Guangzhou, distributing Taiwan's "Xiongbing" anti-theft devices.
- April 1998: Began independent R&D and production of automotive anti-theft alarms.
- July 1999: Acquired all shares of Taiwan Xiongbing.
- March 2000: Moved into a new plant and developed a two-way LCD anti-theft device.
- December 2001: Passed ISO9001:2000 quality system certification.
- June 2002: Became a supporting supplier for Zhengzhou Nissan and Great Wall Motors.
- October 2003: Passed FCC certification of the U.S. Federal Government.
- May 2004: The first in the industry to pass Swiss SGS ISO/TS16949 quality system certification.
- January 2005: Xiongbing was the first to pass China's compulsory CCC certification.
- September 2007: Developed China's first smart key one-button start system.
- August 2009: Construction began on the Xiongbing Industrial Zone in Zengcheng, Guangzhou.
- June 2010: Xiongbing's second supporting industrial zone in Zhengzhou was contracted.
- December 2010: Recognized as a High-tech Enterprise in Guangdong Province.
- September 2011: Xiongbing Industrial Zone in Zengcheng was officially put into operation; Xiongbing headquarters moved to the Automotive Industry Base of Zengcheng (Xintang) Economic and Technological Development Zone, Guangzhou.
- December 2011: Passed multiple international authoritative certifications including General Motors (GM) automotive product certification, European CE, and CNAL.
- June 2012: Won the industry's "Outstanding Contribution Award" at the Zhengzhou Automotive Supplies Exhibition.
- February 2013: China Telecom's "Connected Vehicle Service Platform" was established at Xiongbing.
- June 2013: Became one of the top ten gold suppliers of safety electronics for OEMs.
- September 2013: Won the China Auto 4S Store Supplies Supplier Award.
- December 2013: Won JAC Motors' "Special Quality Contribution Award".
- June 2014: Won Great Wall Motors' "Zero Defect Quality Improvement Award".
