南桐煤矿位于重庆市万盛区境内，距重庆市区73公里，到万盛城区7公里，毗邻綦万高速、叁万铁路，交通便利。南桐煤矿成立于1938年，至今有71年的历史，是重庆市*大的主焦煤生产基地。矿井现年产量80万吨，通过技改扩能，在3年内打造成为重庆能源投资集团的高产高样板矿，届时年产可达120万吨，矿井实现安全本质化、采掘机械化、管理智能化、运输连续化、环境园林化。
