GAC Aisin Automatic Transmission Co., Ltd. is jointly funded by two Fortune 500 companies, GAC Group and Aisin Corporation. The company was registered and established on December 11, 2018, and is located in the GAC Intelligent Connected New Energy Vehicle Industrial Park. It is a key project of Guangdong Province. The total project investment is approximately 2.64 billion RMB. The first product, the 6F25 automatic transmission, commenced production at the end of April 2021, and the first hybrid product, the GMC335 hybrid transmission, officially started production in January 2025.
